Support.

Chirp is made by a small team, and support requests are read by a person. Support lives in the app: open Settings and, under Help, tap Support. Ask there, and the reply lands in the same thread, with a badge on Settings when it arrives.

No app in front of you, or prefer email? Write to support@chirpbudget.com and the same people read it.

How do I cancel my subscription or trial?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so cancelling happens in your Apple account, not in Chirp: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Chirp, and tap Cancel. Cancelling at least 24 hours before your trial or billing period ends means you will not be charged again. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple account, and request a refund for the Chirp charge. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

I subscribed on another device. How do I restore my purchase?

Sign in with the same account you used before. Your subscription is tied to your Apple account, so it follows you; if it does not appear, use Restore Purchases in Chirp’s Settings.

How do I export my data?

Settings has an export control that writes any date range of your record to a CSV file you can open anywhere.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings and choose delete account. This removes your account and the record stored under it, no email required. The Privacy Policy describes exactly what is stored and what deletion removes.

Does Chirp connect to my bank?

No. Chirp has no bank linking at all. You enter your own transactions. Auto-approve is on by default; turn it off in Settings to check each entry before it saves. The your data page explains this in plain language.

A voice entry came out wrong.

Every parsed entry waits on a review card before it becomes part of your record. Fix the amount, name, or category there, or toss it. If a particular phrase keeps parsing wrong, tell us through Settings → Help → Support; corrections like that are how recognition gets better.
